Why become one of our guides, and how does it work
Why?
We know that you love your job, but it is not always easy to find tourist, and you could feel like you spend more time chasing clients than working as a tour guide. That’s why we created Tour Now: We will find the clients, and you just have to focus on doing what you love: giving tourist the best experience of our city.
How?
Our customers book a city tour of Panama City on our Tourist App and within minutes the system will send the request to all guides.
The tour will be asigned to the first one to confirm his availability for that date and time.
The bookings are available for tours from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., to allow the last tour to have enough light to visit the city.
Who?
The match will be made according to your vehicle capacity and will be assigned to the active Tour Guide who accept first the trip on the App. You just have to start your day, activate your Tour Now App, so we know you’re available, and start giving tours of Panama City.
How much?
We will sell the City Tour for 87 US$ and will pay you 40 US$ per tourist.
Your payment will be once a week, directly to your Panamanian Bank account.
How to become a Tour Now Guide?
Download the Guide's App and create your profile
Go to your App store and download the Tour Now App for guides. You will be able to create your profile in seconds.
Upload the required documents
Send us all the required documents, from you, your license and your car. We will review the documents and get back to you.
Once verified, we will activate your account
If everything is up-to-date we will approve your profile and you can activate yourself for the next demand of a city tour.
Minimum Requirements
- Be 18+ years old
- Panamanian or foreigner with a residence permit
- Have a vehicle available
- Spanish and English speaker
- Be a certified tourist guide and/or SET plate
- Accept our terms and conditions

- Panamanian ID or Residence Permit
- Tourism license from ATP or Placa SET
- Photo
- RUV of vehicle
- Driver’s license
- Vehicle insurance
Vehicle Requirements
- Maximum 10 years old
- Minimum 4 doors
- All passenger seats with seat belts
- Air Conditioning
